SPINAL DECOMPRESSION

DRX 9000 for Cervical and Lumbar Treatment

DRX Spinal Decompression Machine

Spinal Decompression, also referred to as Disc Rehydration Therapy or Computerized Mechanical Traction, is used to treat both lumbar and cervical disc injury.  Our Practice utilizes the DRX 9000 True Non-Surgical Spinal Decompression machine for our treatments. We currently have 2 units that treat both lumbar and cervical conditions, enabling us to address a wide variety of back and neck issues.

This method of treatment works effectively for injury due to nerve compression.  The mechanical cycle is digitally customized to your height, weight and location of the injury.  The cycle gently stretches the spine to create a gap between the discs to allow for improved flow of nutrients through the vertebrate columns of the spine. Pain decreases significantly as your injuries heal, slowly and steadily, with regular decompression treatment sessions. Many patients feel relief after their first few sessions, and most are living better and happier lives upon completion of treatment.

The DRX9000 spinal decompression machine has been cleared by the FDA to treat herniated discs, bulging discs, degenerative disc disease, and posterior facet syndrome. This is the only mechanical system available in its field to utilize a servo motor, ensuring that the therapy stays true to each patient’s logarithmic spinal decompression treatment.
